Getting started

Five minutes from zero to earning testnet yield.

1. Connect a wallet

Open the Sward app and hit Connect wallet. Browser wallets like MetaMask and Rabby are detected automatically; WalletConnect and mobile wallets live under More wallets. If this is your first visit you'll get a short welcome with these same steps.

Sward runs on Robinhood Chain Testnet (chain id 46630). If your wallet is on another network, the app shows a one-click switch button and can add the network for you.

2. Get test assets

You need two things: a little testnet ETH for gas, and some test tokens to supply.

Open Get test assets (in the banner, the wallet menu, or the dashboard) and mint from the faucet. Each mint is capped at 10,000 whole tokens, and you can mint any listed asset: ETH equivalents, stablecoins like USDC and DAI, and more.

3. Supply something

From Markets, pick an asset and press Supply. The drawer shows the live supply APY, what the rate becomes after your deposit, the network fee, and a health preview. ERC-20 supplies take two signatures the first time (a one-time approval, then the supply itself); ETH takes one.

Once confirmed, your dashboard shows the position earning in real time.

4. Borrow against it (optional)

Enable your supplied asset as collateral (the toggle in Your supplies), then press Borrow on any borrowable asset. Start small: the health factor page explains how much buffer to keep.

Something not working?

The most common causes, in order: the wallet is on the wrong network, the wallet has no testnet ETH for gas, or the RPC is briefly unreachable (the app shows a retry button when that happens).
